Review: James Joyce's Ulysses (1922) is widely regarded as the greatest novel of the 20th century. Set over a single day - 16 June 1904 - in Dublin, it follows Leopold Bloom, Stephen Dedalus, and Molly Bloom through the city in an intricate parallel to Homer's Odyssey. The Bodley Head New Edition, reset in 1960, was the standard British hardback text for a generation of readers and remains the most commonly encountered collectible Bodley Head Joyce.
